Here is a list of some of our favourite South Australian accessible accommodation places that we compiled for South Aussie with Cosi. This list is not exhaustive and the level of accessibility still varies between each accommodation provider.
With our campaign to make SA more inclusive we hope to get all tourism services to provide ample accessible information so you can easily choose what suits you without always having to call ahead! This is not the case just yet…..
We hope this list is helpful and get you out and about to enjoy South Australia. Share your photos on Instagram with #pushadventures

YHA Adelaide backpackers – Adelaide City
I wish we’d stumbled across a backpacker hostel as friendly, spacious and accessible as the YHA Adelaide when we traveled Europe all those years ago. There are private rooms and an accessible bathroom.

13 reduced mobility rooms with a whole range of accessible facilities in the heart of the city, there is sure to be something for everyone here.
North Adelaide Boutique Stayz – Adelaide North
Boutique accessible accommodation in North Adelaide, plenty of information on their website to find accommodation that suits you.
Brighton Caravan Park – Adelaide South
The caravan park, which has accessible cabins is located next to the Seacliff SLSC who roll out the beach mat for summer patrols and now have a beach wheelchair for use, this is a great opportunity for the active traveller to hit the beach.
Longview Winery – Adelaide Hills
Escape to the Adelaide Hills and enjoy the stunning setting of the winery in 4 star accommodation in an accessible suite. Call the winery to see if this gorgeous accommodation will suit your needs.
Serafino – McLaren Vale
Situated in the heart of McLaren Vale putting you close to one of South Australian wine regions and scenic coastline. Serafino itself is surrounded by gorgeous grounds with accessible, scenic walkways and plenty to explore.
Renmark caravan park – Riverland
We’ve returned to Renmark for our family holiday for the last three years, it ticks a lot of boxes for us, family friendly with a great swimming pool, clean accessible and family bathroom, cabins and river front sites available and warm weather most of the year, its a winner!
Houseboat Heaven – Riverland
House-boating is one of the most amazing holidays we’ve ever had; unpack once, 360 degree views of the river with incredible sunsets, swimming, fishing, cruising or relaxing! Houseboat Heaven is purpose built and fully wheelchair accessible!
Wallaroo Caravan Park – Yorke Peninsula
Great family friendly caravan park, and a beach you can drive on! Beach wheelchairs to hire, and everything you expect at a good caravan park! Accessible cabin available, but you do need to call for the details, info not available online.
Cockatoo Downs Farm Stay – South East, SA
This family friendly farm stay has a range of simple accommodation including an accessible cabin and plenty to keep the children amused. Note you will have get around the farm via compacted dirt paths.
