Calypso Star Charters
Andrew Wright, from Claypso Star Charters shared his efforts to cater to the accessible travel market during an Accessible and Inclusive EcoTourism Presentation on 8 October 2021.
Andrew has always welcomed the accessible travel community to enquire about how specific needs can be catered for on his tours, however he has recently taken his access to the next level by making one of his vessels more physically accessible by building ramps and stablizing the boat.
He is quick to point out that stablizing the boat makes it a better experience for everyone.
The guest photographed below didn’t want to enter into the shark cage, but Andrew assures us that this is possible for people with reduced mobility.
